The present study aims to facilitate the learning and reflection of Gestalt-Therapy principles and to promote the theory-practice reasoning of Psychology students and those interested in the hospital area. As a goal, it aims to serve as a vehicle for reflection and learning for students of Psychology and other interested professionals. For this, the method chosen was a case study with a patient who had to face an induced abortion in the hospital of Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Pará in the second semester of 2011. This seek to contemplate the knowledge of Phenomenology in the intermediation between person who goes through the grief situation and their contact with the feeling of loss. The result of this study favored a widening of the gaze on human pain, its forms of expression and possible steps of contact towards the cure. In this way, is it considered relevant insofar as it is possible to present in practice this identification of the Contact Cycle and the Healing Factors previously studied only in theory.
