Abstract

The article approaches the debate regarding a text of Canguilhem intitled "What it is Psychology?”. The author remakes the passage of the quarrels regarding the text and the repercussion that had the academic debate.  The central thesis is the critical ones that Canguilhem makes to Psychology, either a critical epistemological, ethics or politics.  Some of the main axles of the debate are the statute of psychology front to the philosophy and the medicine considering that it is considered as being enters these two fields of knowledge; concepts of normal and pathological, among others.
