The goal of the present work is to study the field of psychology of emotion and of cognitive psychology, within the data processing framework. To accomplish this research, a total of 42 individuals took part of it, and two experiments were done and compared: the former activated emotional nodes; the latter activated cognitive nodes. Both were set with priming and had tasks of word recognition, measured by time of reaction, using a computer. Within each experiment there was a division of word category, where was done an intra-group analysis through the variance analysis. In this analysis, no significant difference was shown by the results. In addition, an inter-group analysis was done using T-test. In this case, the difference between experiments was significant. These results show that the existence of hypothetic model of the emotional nodes, still little explored, does not have to be rejected.
