Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the working reality of teachers in the rural area of some communities in Santa Teresa and São Roque do Canaã - ES having as a starting point the undestanding of the strategies . They use to deal with the adversities and joys of their quotidian. It maps the struggles these docents go through and identifies the defense strategies they use in their scholl life. After interviews and observations ten rural teachers, it was found out moments of pain because the work overload of work and which they do not know how to do manage. However, they have some sort of reward when they are knouwledged by the community.
