Researches regarding mapping the present status in certain knowledge areas are important to evaluate the needs for future studies and to observe what has already been produced. This research has analyzed 22 class programs from Professional Counseling (PC) classes that were available on the Universities url. The content that was taught was considered and the states, semester, discipline&#';s name, hours of time, quantity and kind of content were also described. Among the results, a higher concentration of these classes is highlighted in the 4th year, an emphasis on the basic theoretical aspects that describe the area, and an emphasis on measuring. Aspects referring to professional background and teaching quality in PC are discussed.
