Abstract

At the seventies the capitalism suffered deep transformations in your productive organization; the Fordism, based on serial production, was replaced by the Toyotism, that defends the productive flexibility. At the same time, the Well-Far-State was shacked by the advance of neo-liberal governments. As a result of that changes, the classic urban segregation model, were we have the opposition between the rich center and the poor outskirts, come on changing in a way that the traditional workers neighborhoods loose their space to “news” poor urban locations. This article intends to explore the way how this actual kind of popular neighborhoods influences resident` s behavior and yours life trajectories. This analysis was made using, principally, the theory of Bourdieu and Kaztman, as well as empiric information collected through a ethnographic study.
