This work analyzes the forms of contextualization of experiences of spaces in cities, using the understanding of Marc Augé about the production of non-places in the contemporaneous world and the discussion proposed by Virgínia Kastrup about the possibilities of learning of an inventive cognition. With these concepts, this paper discusses the urgency in producing, in the urban life, other existential possibilities distinct from the consumerism selfishness, common of the proliferation of non-places. The article understands that the distraction formulated by Kastrup is an important device for the reflection of this crisis in the urban space and proposes transfiguration experiences as an alternative to the production of places of interaction among the differences that emerge in the urban life
