Abstract

AZEREDO, Fabio  and  CANAVEZ, Fernanda. Intervention on intervention: about transfer in a social work. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2007, vol.7, n.3, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1808-4281.

This paper focuses on the bond built between the family assisted by the project of reallocation in the family (PRF), which operates under the Foundation of childhood and adolescence of Rio de Janeiro government and technical staff of a day-care institution for people with deficiency. Our intervention on intervention conducted by this staff, composed of psychoanalysts will be the object of our article. PRF attends children and teenagers with deficiency who live or have lived on government shelters. We make a methodic psychosocial attendance to these people’s relatives, who live mostly on Rio de Janeiro`s slums. We will report this case guided by our research, named Poverty as the right to be an exception. The work Intervention on transfer, written by the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan, will be studied to show differences between a psychoanalytic intervention and an assistencialistic one. Then, we will present the main ideas contented in the book Social disqualification, written by a French sociologist - Serge Paugam - to emphasize how different our intervention was from that one.

Keywords : Intervention; Poverty; Character; Family reintegration; Psychoanalysis.
