Abstract

MACHADO, Rebeca Nonato  and  WINOGRAD, Monah. The importance of tactile experiences in the psychic formation. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2007, vol.7, n.3, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1808-4281.

When we try to understand the organization of the psychic apparatus, the symbolic is usually emphasized as the first organizing element. However, it can also be verified that the first touching experiences are equally important to the physical development and to the organization of the psychic apparatus of the subject. In this paper the research focuses in particular on the role of touching experiences and at large on the role of sensorial experiences in forming representations, and thus, creating the bases of the psychic organization. Using Ashley Montagu’s (1971;1988) e Didier Anzieu’s (1985;2000) works, as a basic reference we want to point out that bodily contact in the mother-baby relationship is the human being’s first form of communication. This primary communication will leave marks that will be carried for the rest of his life
