The present work has as its objective to discussion the psychoanalysis applied to the institution of mental health. We search to argue the function of the analyst in the current world and its relation with the institutions of the treatment of madness. As a conducting axle of this discussion we take the concept of practical, done by many, presenting considerations on the intervention of the psychoanalysis in the collective field. We look for to argue the transference on the psychosis, the dimension of knowing, the construction of the clinical case to point to the constitution of institutions of mental health that bet on the subjective invention and value of the speech of the citizen in therapeutcis
