This article is part of the analysis done as a result of issues raised during my doctorate in history and society on the policies directed at children and adolescents in Brazil, during the democratization process, by using the genealogical method of Michel Foucault. We have several categories of analysis present in the text, however, only those relating to education, according to the practices of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), aimed at the policies of protection for children and adolescents in Brazil are highlighted. UNICEF is an agency of international cooperation related to the United Nations, acting in partnership with other UN agencies such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. These agencies have extensive action in the developing countries. The speeches events of UNICEF- set in motion practice of standardization, discipline and control, paralleling strategies for the protection of children and adolescents in Brazil.
