Abstract

ROBINE, Jean-Marie. The field organism/environment: a last plan about this concept. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2009, vol.9, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1808-4281.

The proposal of this article is revises the concept of Field Organism / environment quoted in the work of Perls and Goodman, without claims of developing new perspectives about the same thing. Emphasize the importance of this concept, which does not represent simply the idea of Man / world, but  refers to one of the basic concepts of the Gestalt-Terapia: Frontier of Contact. To talk about this subject, the concepts of Field are rescued in K. Lewin and Organism in K. Goldstein, considering them like dynamic processes, when a physical space was not reduced to or to a physiologic body. The emphasis is in the experience of the person, in the  phenomenological sense  and  understanding of this process like a totality.. For the gestalt therapists , the importance of this paradigm in the clinical practice, appears by the action of recognizing  contact forms established by the client, favoring the destruction and the updating of the fixed figures that imprison it, very often in a false premise of security and protection.

Keywords : Field; Organism/environment; Gestalt-therapy.
