Abstract

CAVANELLAS, Luciana Bicalho. Intimacy : the uncommon common place in an universe of distant people. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2009, vol.9, n.1, pp. 0-0. ISSN 1808-4281.

We are living the time of the high or post-modernity. The moment is of velocity, multiplicity, technological innovations, future, absence of historicity, lack of references and discomfort. The therapeutical relation may be seen as an uncommon place to one meet the other and himself in a world commanded by the forces of the alienation and of the disagreement. The psychotherapy confirms its place, but supplicates the reflection. The intimacy appears as  possibility and ends by constituting common and personal ways of search of sense. The Gestalt Therapy, as a proposition of phenomenological-existential basis, offers itself to the experience stream trying to understand and to affirm it as a possible source of creation and opening.

Keywords : Modernity; Intimacy; Gestalt-therapy.
