Abstract

This article reflects a clinical concern about the psychoanalytical operation with psychosomatic phenomena. Making a study of Lacanian conceptions of the psychosomatic phenomena, we reflected on the propositions of "writing" as a concept, taking it as "writing on the body", distinct from the significant, to discuss the possibility of take the "letter" as a guide in the psychoanalytical treatment of this phenomenon. The relationship between letter and significant is used to think the passage of enjoyment to the unconscious, or from the real to symbolic dimension, according to the quantification's logic and hoping that a "writing" of the enjoyment could operate. The idea that the writing of the body produces an subject as effect, enables think the body affected by scars, whose operation is to read.
