Abstract

FAUSTINO, Graciele Oliveira  and  HUNING, Simone Maria. The Plano Juventude Viva and youth policies network to address violence in Alagoas. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2015, vol.15, n.spe, pp. 1413-1432. ISSN 1808-4281.

In this article we discuss public policies for young people to address violence, that are being developed in Alagoas. We used the Actor-Network Theory and considering the implementation of the Plano Juventude Viva (Plan Youth Alive) we seek to contribute to the field of study of youth and public policy, specifically analyzing the controversies surrounding the constitution of the target audience and the proposals of the plan in Alagoas. Our analysis indicates the imprecision in defining the segment of the youth to whom the plan is intended, the fragility of intersectoral action and the lack of specificity of these intervention programs on historical conditions of exclusion of youth in the state, among which the racismo.

Keywords : public policy; youth; violence; actor-network theory.
