Abstract

This article aimed to present research findings on the United Nations Fund documents for Children (UNICEF) on the topic teenagers and drugs. The methodology documentary historical analysis from theoretical and methodological tools of cultural history and social psychology and institutional frameworks were this work was performed. Among the selected documents, the UNICEF website, during the period of the New Brazilian Republic, since the adoption of the Statute of Children and Adolescents, in 1990 through 2012, are specific reports on the situation of Brazilian teens. Practices were worked triggered by this multilateral agency opposite the issue of drugs and adolescents, being interrogated and analyzed in its effects and designs in ensuring rights of this social group. Among the results, it is possible to highlight UNICEF's attempt to assert a vision vulnerability of adolescents in drug and a set of recommendations to Brazil to give you this.
