This article aims to investigate what PSI literature brings on cognitive behavioral techniques allied to virtual reality with emphasis on trauma and stressor disorders, as well as depressive and anxiety disorders. This study was conducted through a systematic review of articles from the last 10 years in SciELO, Pepsic, Lilacs, Portal Capes and PsycInfo databases. The search was conducted in Portuguese and English, totaling 83 articles without filtering and by eliminating repetitions. After that, the articles were filtered according to the purpose of the study and 14 articles were selected for this work. In conclusion, it could be seen that virtual reality is contributing to the improvement and innovation of cognitive behavior techniques in the surveyed disorders.
