Abstract

ARAUJO, Erika da Silva  and  QUADROS, Laura Cristina de Toledo. A care woven upon networks: versions of a clinical attendance in psychology graduation. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.18, n.3, pp. 873-890. ISSN 1808-4281.

This work is about a clinical experience in psychology looking over the student's clinical practice and the follow-up of a clinical case at the Applied Psychology Service at a public university in Rio de Janeiro. Our main objective is the mapping of the care networks that supports this service, using for it the Actor-Network Theory, and having as a guiding thread the Logic of Care proposed by Mol (2008). The case described is narrated through the experiences lived by the client, which portrays different networks where this client acted. Understanding that care in individual psychotherapy does not happen exclusively in the therapist-client relationship, but may overflow through other spaces, we aim to do some reflections about the care practices as a process that happens linked to a network, including humans and not humans. In this writing, we touched the students training in psychology and some assumptions of Gestalt-therapy, a psychological approach that guided the aforementioned clinical case.

Keywords : clinical practice; care; social psychology; case study; gestalt-therapy.
