Abstract

MORAES, Pedro Henrique  and  ZAMBENEDETTI, Gustavo. Relational Technologies and the Production of Therapeutic Itineraries in Mental Health. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.3, pp. 908-928. ISSN 1808-4281.  http://dx.doi.org/10.12957/epp.2021.62690.

There is a paradigmatic dispute in the healthcare field, with the coexistence of different theoretical-practical models, sometimes enabling psychosocial care, other times reproducing a cloistering treatment. The objective of this study was to map therapeutic itineraries of people with psychological distress, analyzing catches and potentialities in mental health care of the health network of a medium-sized city. A survey was conducted from the cartographic perspective. Survey participants were four people with psychological distress and psychiatric hospitalization history, users of a Primary Health Care Unit in the southeast region of Paraná. Results and discussion are presented in three lines of analysis, in which participants' care itineraries are presented, discussing aspects related to the formation of existential territories as the role of relational technologies in the activation of health networks. In order to analyse events, we use therapeutic itineraries to highlight the tensions between health care models, as well as tensions between the proposition of public policies and their daily operation modes. We conclude that paradigmatic transition from one hospital-centered model to another, focused on Primary Care and territory, requires investment in the operationalization of relational technologies.
