Abstract

The increasing use of crack in Brazil and the lower effective in traditional treatments required an investigation about different approaches to improvement it. This review aim present different approaches in crack dependence treatment, namely: Contingency Management, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Therapeutic Community and Crack Prevention Programs. These therapeutics and the traditional models improve the crack dependence treatment. New studies in Brazilian population are necessary to improve the crack dependence treatment.
