The fear, maybe a mechanism of protection, is considered as inherent to all human. However, when it is persistent, disproportionated and irrational, it characterize a phobic disorder. This article report a case of a pregnant woman with specific injection, blood and wound phobia. In it is possible observe all the evolution of the trial, as well as the results obtained with the handling carried out in 13 sessions, utilizing techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy. The psychological accompaniment reached to the therapeutic objective of provide to the client conditions she submit to a Caesarean herself without psychological answers that injured the birth.
