The study of social skills has grown significantly in recent years due his application in different contexts and the impact that a deficit in social skills can cause to health and quality of life. There are many interventions proposed in literature for development and treatment of these skills, and the main one is the Social Skills Training. This article aims to present a social skills training group proposal for university with social anxiety symptoms. Participated in this study 22 university students from various courses at a private university. The intervention was conducted over 10 sessions on a weekly basis. The instruments used were: Social Anxiety Questionnaire for Adults (CASE-A30), Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale, Depression Inventory and Beck Anxiety (BAI and BDI), and ASR (Adult Self-Report). A comparison of results before and the intervention showed that participants had a significant improvement in symptoms of social anxiety. We can also identify that those participants who had a more severe symptoms in the beginning of treatment drop-out the intervention.
