A socio-demographic and behavioral questionnaire was administered, the Lipp's Stress Symptom Inventory for Adults, to evaluate stress and the WHOQOL-Brief to evaluate quality of life. It was observed that 77.8% of investigated present stress, 37.8% predominate psychological symptoms, and 17.8% are worsening in stress. As to the perception of quality of life, 33.3% assessed it as bad; on satisfaction with health, 42.2% are dissatisfied. It concludes that resident health professionals are in a high stress situation while the quality of life was evaluated as negative.
