CARDOSO, Caroline de Oliveria; ANTUNES, Carolina  e  CUNHA, Samantha Cristina Ritzel. Desadaptative schemes and alcohol use disorder: systematic review. Rev. bras.ter. cogn. [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.1, pp. 19-28. ISSN 1808-5687.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5935/1808-5687.20190005.

Maladaptive initial schemes (EIDs) are those that develop throughout life and may be more or less useful. Many studies have shown that EIDs are associated or may be a number of mental health problems, such as alcohol use disorders. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate the difference between EIDs and alcohol use disorder, through a systematic review of the literature. For this, a search was made in Pubmed, Psynet and Lilacs databases. When this query was performed, the study was analyzed and it was possible to verify that the disorder of the use of screening by nurse was greater in the DIDs with the nonclinical group. Insufficient self-control / self-discipline schemes, self-sacrifice, abandonment / instability, inflexive patterns were more frequently published in the studies analyzed. The conditions for using alcohol can be a way behind dealing with your EIDs, being a coping strategy. Studies like these are very important because the treatment for problems with alcohol can be improved when they are more concerned with the EIDs and the personality traits.
