Abstract

VIEIRA, Camila Mugnai  and  CORDEIRO, Mariana Prioli. Work and subjectivity: psychosocial Intervention in a Group of Professionals of the "Family's Health Program". Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2005, vol.57, n.1, pp. 58-74. ISSN 1809-5267.

This article discusses a psychosocial intervention, based on organizational psychology, carried out within a group of professionals of the "Programa Saúde da Família" (Family's Health Program), an out-patient basic health service which takes place on the periphery of Londrina - PR. The objectives were: to investigate the labour relations and their implications in the subjectivity of the professionals, and to undertake an intervention that would make possible for those professionals to establish a healthy relationship with their working practices. Visits to the unit and semi-structured interviews have been made. After that, five fortnightly meetings were held with the group, aiming at investigating the meaning of their work and its influence on their health and subjectivity, and at creating alternatives to overcome their difficulties on the job. The issues discussed in these meetings were: interpersonal relationships, communication and the methods of labour organization. The data have been analyzed considering the institutional, individual and group aspects. The investigation and work accomplished at this health unit was punctual, and it only started a process of discussions and debates that must continue.
