Psychopathy is a personality disorder that has as its main characteristic a change of character, which causes the individuals to use behavioral pathological actions to control and manipulate people more easily, which can result in damage to society in general. There is evidence that brain abnormalities may be related to the emergence of behaviors similar to those of psychopaths. This disorder occurs both in men and women, but each sex presents peculiarities, especially in relation to the way behavior is manifested. Then, this article, through theoretical review in data bases, aimed at discussing the characteristics of psychopathy and more specifically sought to identify the differences between the sexes.
