Resumen

PEREIRA, Gilberto Braga; SANCHIS, Isabelle Paiva  y  MOREIRA, Lecy Rodrigues. Subject, Society and Speech. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2010, vol.62, n.2, pp. 2-13. ISSN 1809-5267.

This work inscribes itself in the scope of the theories of speech developed by Laclau and Mouffe, and by Bakhtin and Volochínov. The objective is to bring concepts and conceptions of the authors that can assist the reflection of possible approaches and distances between the two positions, especially about the matter of the language in the constitution of the subject and the society, since they have a common marxist origin. It is intended to contribute for a ampler quarrel regarding the categories that try to explain the relations between the individual and the social, or between the particular and the universal. The perspective of Laclau and Mouffe brings the positions of subject inside a discursive structure, and the approach of Bakhtin and Volochínov tends towards a totalizing vision of the reality, from a dialectic synthesis between subject and society.

Palabras clave : Laclau and Mouffe; Bakhtin and Volochínov; language; subject; society.
