Abstract

This article presents a discussion about mental health in the context of immaterial work. Based in the results of two studies grounded in theoretical and methodological Clinical Psychodynamics of Work, which sought to understand the psychodynamics of the work context of nursing in a hospital and a municipal guard, professions that have human contact at the core of your doing, characterized for an intangible product. The demands of work in contemporary society, is added by the increase in service sector and the maximization of immaterial work. The interventions facilitated the construction of a space of collective discussion, creating cracks in the opacity of the organization of work, allowing visibility of the suffering of workers. Through this space of interaction, exchange and conviviality, the circulation of the word and the ability to create are increased, favoring the reconnaissance, health and empowerment of workers.
