DESBORDES, Emmanuelle Borgnis. Anorexia, femininity and love. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2012, vol.64, n.2, pp. 105-114. ISSN 1809-5267.

Contemporary anorexia is not a denial of femininity, but an attempt to limit the jouissance of women who are either on board or pretending. At contemporary, where the jouissance tends to be in control, the body and its jouissance are on the front of the stage and sign the disorientation of desire. How to reintroduce the anorexic girls to the language of desire, separate requirements of use, which put them on a path of Other jouissance, feminine, proven by them, in which they are made? Body control and its sensation is an attempt to counter the unlimited jouissance that passes them, and determines them as women.
