LIMA, Nádia Laguárdia et al. The notions of femininity constructed by teenagers on social networks. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2016, vol.68, n.2, pp. 31-47. ISSN 1809-5267.

This article presents the results of a research which aimed investigating the notions of femininity presented by adolescents aged 13 to 18 years old on social networks. It was used, as method, qualitative research based on texts published by these teenagers on web. The theoretical discussions which guided researchers' interpretation of adolescents' texts were based on four main axis: adolescence, body, femininity and contemporaneity and it was used Lacanian Psychoanalysis perspective as principal theoretical reference. The hypothesis presented by this article is that, nowadays, these adolescents utilize consumer objects related to the body as a form of constructing a supposedly feminine identity.
