Abstract

QUARTIERO, Eliana  and  NARDI, Henrique Caetano. Differences and inequalities on a distance education project. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2016, vol.68, n.2, pp. 84-98. ISSN 1809-5267.

In this paper we propose to discuss how the functioning of truths about the human differentiation regulates and conforms the pedagogical actions and will present itself as a challenge as we seek to transform the school routine, which has emerged as discriminatory and not very open to differences. We use as research field the implementation of the course Gender and Diversity in School, hosted by the Ministry of Education as continuing education for teachers of the public school system, which aims to modify prejudices and disseminate a conception of human rights. We explored the naturalization of truths that, in this process, constructs subjectivities and identities, demarcates differences that provide the basis for inequalities. We analyze, in this process, power networks related to the ways we understand the processes of education, the positions assigned to teachers and the different legitimacy of the center and the periphery as positions of enunciation.

Keywords : Continuing teacher education; Distance education; Public policy; Sexual diversity; Human rights.
