Abstract

MONTEIRO, Ana Claudia Lima  and  PALETTA, Gabriela Cabral. Composition of affected bodies: the power of dancing. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2016, vol.68, n.3, pp. 3-16. ISSN 1809-5267.

In this study, we think of dancing as a privileged agent in the production of bodies and subjectivities. For that purpose, we tagged along the process of putting together a dance spectacle and its production, which has as themes love and suicide. This process responds to the convocation of art and establishes it, since the dancer at the same time allows the dance to exist and exists because of it. We propose in our work the simultaneous constitution of the dancers and the dance itself, establishing a body affected in this space of negotiation. During the rehearsals, we lived the process of mutual construction of the dancers, the researchers, and the affections involved in those meetings. We present here our narrative, which composes a "tessitura" in which the bodies and the subjectivities emerge from the singular composition of multiple and heterogenic actors.
