Abstract

PINTO JUNIOR, Antonio Augusto; ROSA, Helena Rinaldi; CHAVES, Gislaine  and  TARDIVO, Leila Salomão de La Plata Cury. Research with the Desiderative Questionnaire: a literature review. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.70, n.3, pp. 274-287. ISSN 1809-5267.

The Desiderative Questionnaire is a projective verbal technique, based on concepts of the Freudian and Kleinian psychoanalysis, that evaluates the degree of ego structuring, defense mechanisms and some personality traits that predominate in each subject. In this work, the authors analyzed the scientific articles related to the Desiderative Questionnaire. For that, a literature review was performed in the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS-Psi) and PsycINFO databases. We found 13 scientific productions about this test between 2001 and 2017. The results show that the manuscripts are all in Spanish and Portuguese, mainly from Argentina and Brazil, with the objective of studying psychodynamic and personality characteristics in different contexts and clinical situations. No validity studies were found with this instrument, thus requiring new research to evaluate the psychometric qualities of this projective test, especially in the Brazilian context.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Psychodiagnosis; Psychological tests; Literature review.
