Abstract

O, Jorge Ramos do. New airs and school misrule: historical-genealogical traces and the poetics of today-tomorrow. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.70, n.spe, pp. 6-19. ISSN 1809-5267.

This article intends to approach the forces directed to rule the cognition of school subjects. Growing up within an educational institution is to inhabit, from childhood, a mechanics of government that makes the school return, day after day, to a same performance characterized by constant vigilance, by the standardization and by the search of homogeneity of both the knowledge and the subjects. The same contents are administered simultaneously to all students as if they were one. The school system that we have set up since the end of the 16th century remains intact in our days of the digital revolution and is characterized by absolute circularity, by an essential closure. The hypothesis that I leave here is that we can be and do more if we give ourselves the time and the possibility of reflecting, in the same way and with the same intensity, on what constitutes us as desire and idealized object, as well as on what presents itself as an obstacle for us, boundary and insurmountable barrier.

Keywords : Curriculum; Governmentality; History of the Present.
