This article aims to problematize the relationship between psychology, Public Policies and processes of subjectivation in the Brazilian context. We take as epistemological and methodological principles Michel Foucault's studies, particularly those in which the French philosopher discusses the concepts of government, truth, and subjectivity. Currently, Public Policies face divestment processes in economic terms, combined with violent practices increase and repressive state strategies directed to the population. This economic, political and social context directly affects the production of demands made to professionals who work with populations in vulnerability situation. We argue that not only the technical knowledge has to be operationalized in the Public Policies field: the confrontations in urgent times impulse resistance practices to be created to affirm the right to exist.

Keywords : Psychology; Public Policies; Subjectivation.
