Abstract

PANISSON, Gelson; GESSER, Marivete  and  GOMES, Marcela de Andrade. PAEFI/CREAS intersectorality from the users' perspective: research report. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.73, n.2, pp. 37-51. ISSN 1809-5267.  http://dx.doi.org/10.36482/1809-5267.ARBP2021v73i2p.37-51.

This article aims to identify the meanings attributed by users of a Service of Protection and Specialized Assistance to Families and Individuals (PAEFI) about the intersectoral articulation performed by this service, as recommended by the Brazilian Social Assistance Policy. The information was obtained through semi-structured interviews conducted with nine users of the PAEFI in a city in the southern region of Brazil and analyzed from the meaning cores. The theoretical framework was based on Historical-Cultural Psychology and authors of Critical Social Psychology. The results indicate that the intersectoral articulation carried out by this service was meant by users both as an integrated work aimed at guaranteeing human rights, as well as a place of surveillance and discipline. The study proposed intersectoral actions to be guided by dialogic care and emancipatory practices with the subjects and contexts.

Keywords : Social assistance; Psychology; PAEFI; User; Intersectorality.
