In this writing, we start from a research-extension experience with adolescents interned in the socio-educational system. In it, we underline some of the methodological particularities of a research in psychoanalysis within the scope of socio-education. This practice in the institution, at the same time, widens the borders of the traditional office and puts us in front of narratives guided by an excess of reality, mainly due to the experiences of young people who live in situations of violence and vulnerability. With this study, we intend to continue the productions that we have developed based on the idea that psychoanalytic ethics is configured as a method.
