Abstract

FEIJOO, Ana Maria Lopez Calvo de. The children’s psychological clinic in an existential perspective. Rev. abordagem gestalt. [online]. 2011, vol.17, n.2, pp. 185-192. ISSN 1809-6867.

In this article we will try to show a child psychological clinic is possible under the existential perspective. So, for this we will start by considering that what is at issue in the child, i.e. their character of indetermination, freedom and care differs nothing from adult. And that the essential aspects of posture are clinical phenomenological attitude and liberating concern. Thus, the clinical psychologist - besides any theoretical position and categorization about child’s behavior - can get closer to the phenomenon as it presents itself.

Keywords : Child clinics; Phenomenology; Philosophies of existence; Heidegger.
