Abstract

Inspired by the ideas of Carl Rogers on teaching of Meaningful Learning, this study aims to describe a form evaluative differentiated for graduate students of psychology when they are studying disciplines that deal with the existential-humanistic psychologies. This type of assessment called an Experiential Essay writing is the expression of the student where he will articulate the concepts and theories of existential-humanistic psychologies with their own personal experiences. He's invited to lecture all that resonated with his being from the knowledge coming from those psychologies. This study therefore aims to show the potential of Experiential Essay as a way unique glimpse of the student learning process of the theoretical framework of existential-humanistic psychologies, with the thread's own experiences. The shape of Experiential Essay by the student is primarily a way to bring you closer to himself, reflecting and constituting a unit direction from their experiences and support concept of existential-humanistic psychologies.
