This study presents a bibliographical survey of what has been produced on the issue of unemployment, taking as a starting point the analysis of studies with recent graduates who find themselves in this situation to enable a problematization in light of the phenomenological-existential perspective. The intention is to discuss how the experience of individuals is approached in this period of transition between the university and the labor market. To that end, ten scientific studies were selected that portray the theme in the period of the last 20 years. There is a shortage of studies under the phenomenological-existential reading, with more recurring studies that approach a perspective on the world of work, relating cause and effect. Therefore, the opening of a new thinking is promoted, from this perspective, with a greater focus on heideggerian thought, which allows us to bring these reflections to light.
