The competent reader of contemporary philosophy has recognised in the works of R. Barbaras the teachings and theoretical possibilities of an original philosophical project. In our view, the first sedimentations of such a project are to be found in Introduction à une philosophie de la vie. In this paper we would like to came back to this major book in order to tackle the ingenious analysis of the "a priori of the phenomenological correlation" in terms of life.
