Abstract

SCARPA, Mariana Cabral Tomzhinsky. Intentionality: Merleau-Ponty and Barbaras. Rev. abordagem gestalt. [online]. 2019, vol.25, n.2, pp. 148-155. ISSN 1809-6867.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18065/RAG.2019v25n2.5.

In this article, we intent to approach Merleau-Ponty and Barbaras's philosophies, exploring some of the basic elements about intentionality and their implications in the thoughts of both philosophers. Retaking, briefly, Husserl's notion of intentionality, and moving forwards on Merleau-Ponty's perspective in his initials texts, in order to bring along the way that intentionality appears connected to the movement of "own body"-in-the-world. Afterwards we'll aproach some of Barbaras's texts that increase the a priori correlational's sense and indicate opening boundaries by phenomenology of life.

Keywords : Phenomenology; Intentionality; Correlational a priori.
