Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Thaís Thomé Seni S. e  and  CALDANA, Regina Helena Lima. Psychosocial practices in psychology: an invitation to networking. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2014, vol.9, n.2, pp. 184-192. ISSN 1809-8908.

The interdisciplinary, inter-sector and territorial works are assumptions of the psychosocial mental health care model. This work aims to present reflections by psychologists from the Psychosocial Care Centers of a city in the state of Paraná on some aspects of psychosocial practices they perform. Semi-structured individual interviews and group meetings were conducted, using the technique of Pichón-Rivière's Operative Group. The interviews and the groups were recorded, transcribed and qualitatively analyzed. The results suggest aspects of the work process organization influenced by national and local policies that hinder networking, such as the excess of demands for mental health teams. It has been concluded that for the effectiveness of psychosocial practices, it is essential to create strategies for the permanent training of professionals who inventively adopt the tripod theory-practice-self-care and enable networking at various levels.

Keywords : Mental health; Psychosocial care; Psychosocial practices; Psychological intervention.
