In this article, we aim at reporting an experience of internship developed into a Center for Psychosocial Care in the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba State. We used the theoretical and methodological approaches of Community Social Psychology, together with the participatory methodology of Popular Education and also with the guiding principles of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform. Among the activities of the internship we would like to emphasize the facilitation of workshops for a group of users. The method of the Theater of the Oppressed and other artistic languages were used, and visual aids resources were produced with the participation of the users throughout the process, a documentary about their life histories, focusing on places and types of treatment they had undergone, as well as their future projects. This practice promoted health, stimulated the autonomy and social leadership of users who assumed the role of creative producers of creation.
