Abstract

PEREIRA, Marcelo Sant' Anna. Using the logical framework in social projects. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.2, pp. 327-339. ISSN 1809-8908.

Among the various project management tools used today in Brazil and worldwide, the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) stands out for the way that it helps, from the beginning of the project design, to focus on the goal to be achieved and to create conditions to clearly manage the efficiency, efficacy, and effectiveness of the project, also pointing out the external risks to its conduction. This article seeks to learn the Logical Framework through literature review, it demonstrates its applicability in a real project proposed by a non-governmental organization to raise funds through the National Program to Support Health Care of the Person with Disabilities (PRONAS / PCD ) and discusses its use, its effects, its virtues and its defects within the context of the Public Policies and, more specifically, of the Third Sector.

Keywords : Logical Framework Approach; Social Programs and Projects; Public Policies.
