CAMARGO, Denise de. Participatory process among health care providers to integrate the assistance to the child who was a victim of violence. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.2, pp. 340-353. ISSN 1809-8908.

This paper presents the report of a participatory research developed with health professionals in a Children's Hospital. It aims at identifying the contributions of this methodology to the integration of the various activities carried out by different professionals assisting children who were victims of violence. The participant methodology was adopted in order to promote collective and committed learning. This approach aimed also at providing interdisciplinary integration that would facilitate practical procedures that are involved with and adjusted to the situation found, to public policies, and to the hospital reality. A discussion group was formed where professionals identified work challenges and reflected on the implications of the ideological, cultural, and psychological nature that interferes with their practices. As a result, a management protocol outline was developed describing the actions that each professional should perform. They concluded that the meetings needed to be continued to put into action the protocol and to achieve multidisciplinarity in the assistance.
