Abstract

ARENDT, Ronald João Jacques  and  MORAES, Márcia Oliveira. The ethical project of Donna Haraway: some effects for research in social psychology. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.1, pp. 11-24. ISSN 1809-8908.

This article describes what the authors consider to be Haraway ' ethical project'. How to coexist in a world characterized by heterogeneous elements? How to live with complex objects , with advanced technologies , with cyborgs , with companion species ? How to build a common world where these conditions can be met ? From authors such as Vinciane Despret , Gilles Deleuze , Boaventura dos Santos and Bruno Latour, Haraway strength of thought is explored in some of its key concepts : her approach to knowledge as situated practice , the resumption of vision for her feminist project, the importance given,in her writings, to the narrative of the stories with others, her sensitive but not innocent position before the world . The article concludes by establishing similarities between Haraway , Deleuze and Latour and indicating the consequences of Haraway ethical project for research in social psychology.
