Abstract

CAITITE, Amanda Muniz Logeto. Clues to a reinvention of epistemology: be affected, science in feminine research WITH and localized knowledge. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.1, pp. 37-52. ISSN 1809-8908.

In our research we often find, in the same institution, several structured fields of knowledge. In this essay, I try to reflect on the possibility of studying this different knowledge from the epistemological field, so that the expertise and authority of each actor found in the field are preserved. Enabling this proposal requires that the statements be thought in terms that go off the opposition between truth and error. Then we resume texts that at least openly advocate an ontological turn legitimating proposals that scape from a traditional epistemology. We affirm, however, the possibility to make epistemology to exist as a project close to ontology. We conclude that an epistemology able to take seriously the expertise of the other is viable starting with a pragmatic basis and favoring the affective dimension and embodied character of the act of researching.

Keywords : research WITH; ontological turn; epistemology; pragmatism; affect.
