This is a report of experiences about career choice with young immigrants in Lisbon. The choice processes are followed, together with the linkages with the production of ways of life, the world of professions and work and the contemporary scene. By taking as reference the research field of Feminine Science, a way of researching that lives into a network of local connections is sought, a way of listening with the whole body, open to alternate and promising syntaxes. The work points to the challenges of a 'researchWith' and to its influences over the research field itself, as well as over the researcher and her text, along the creative routes to knowledge.
