Abstract

TIBOLA, Talita. Care with dissent: thinking political-artistically mobilizations in Rio de Janeiro, from the point-of-view of an ethical and practical care. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.1, pp. 185-199. ISSN 1809-8908.

Starting from reflections resulting from research in squares and political and artistic movements in the city of Rio de Janeiro between the years 2012 and 2014 in which the dissent was an impasse and, at the same time, a constitutive practice, it is proposed the concept of care with dissent as a possible key for reading these mobilizations and as an ethical and practical proposal of (and for) them. Throughout the text we will look at the scope of dissent in such actions and at the establishment of then notion of care with dissent-referenced in studies of Maria Puig de la Bellacasa and Donna Haraway-to just reflect on the creation of common spaces based on ethical practice of care, avoiding that this care becomes a morality and the dissent only a negative issue. It is proposed to think care and dissent as part of the process of being together.

Keywords : care; dissension; urban mobilizations.
